Danny Hernández is the legal administrative assistant for Leaffer Law Group where he assists attorneys with the firm’s administrative functions, research, documentation, and provides back-up to the attorneys to maximize efficiency and efficacy in the office. As the first person you encounter, Danny is dedicated to providing excellent client service and lays the foundation for effective working relationships. Before joining Leaffer Law, Danny served as an assistant to an immigration attorney on U-Visa and asylum proceedings, and as a community liaison for then Colorado State Senator Mike Johnston.
Danny’s commitment to human rights and intercultural communication led him to pursue undergraduate coursework in international relations and modern foreign languages. While in college, Danny served as a member of the Model United Nations team and studied abroad in Santiago de Chile and Florence, Italy.
Previously, Danny served in student government as well as in the Denver Public Schools Student Board of Education, where he served as a regional leader and spearheaded several community-engagement projects.
Danny speaks fluent English, Spanish, and Italian and is a proud first-generation American. In his free time, he enjoys frequenting museums & exhibits, reading and writing poetry, dancing, and playing strategy-based games.
