The Colorado Secretary of State’s Office announced this week the first release in a five-part eLearning series entitled “Board Education and Effectiveness.” The project is aimed at helping nonprofits train and strengthen their boards of directors. The first release is titled “Fiduciary Duties of Nonprofit Directors.”
Leaffer Law Group has been assisting with the legal review and development of the series. In addition, nonprofit leaders from throughout Colorado also helped produce course content, which will touch on a variety of key board topics including governance, personnel issues and regulatory compliance.
The course will be provided through the Secretary of State’s eLearning platform so participants can take the training at the time and place of their choosing. You can access the “Fiduciary Duties of Nonprofit Directors” module here.
